Project Description

This was joint venture with Monaghan County Council and The National Housing Association under the ‘Housing For All’ government programme.

The site is located in at Bree Castleblayney Co. Monaghan. The development consisted of 8 houses which are  at the rear of an existing development and accessed through the existing estate. The site infrastructure services included electricity, water, telecommunications, foul and surface water drainage etc. Mechanical and Electrical systems lighting, heating, ventilation, fire detection, security, etc. Also all associated external works and site development works.

The Houses were constructed to the highest standards and the most energy efficient under the new building regulations. The houses, four number two-storey dwellings and four number single storey bungalows are situated within an established Council scheme. They were designed to fit into the surroundings without impacting on the existing homes and this was achieved must successfully.

The scheme was officially launched by Minister Humphries before as the new tenants received their keys to their forever home.
