Project Description

This building, originally converted in 1966 from the local creamery, has been in use as  a community centre since then. In 2020 the 650m2 existing footprint was rejuvenated and extended by another 300m2. The structure as been designed with the environment very much to the fore. The heating systems originates in the adjacent river which operates a state of the art heat pump to service the entire building, along PV solar panels and energy efficient fittings.

The new layout has created an inviting reception area , leading to office spaces, and meeting rooms. A renovated kitchen area can now cater for parties and functions with its new equipment and layout. The facility now boasts a conference area which can be hired and comes complete with wifi and all the requirements for clients. The existing hall area has been totally restored and comes with a new stage area and is also available to many local sports clubs.

The building is an essential hub for the community and is set to service the community for many years to come.
