Drogheda Grammar School

Project Description

Drogheda Grammar School has been a hugely popular boarding school for nearly 350 years. It is an established place of learning and we were delighted to be afforded the opportunity to construct a new two story detached classroom block. This consisted of one classroom and entrance lobby at lower ground floor level with three classrooms, staff and student toilet facilities and an office at ground floor level and all associated site development works including all retaining walls, external steps and paving. To enable the works, it was necessary to demolish and remove of two existing prefabricated classroom buildings which had been in use for many years.

The new building has greatly enhanced the site and the extra space has been invaluable to the school. The works were carried out during the school year and with minimal disruption to students and staff.
