Project Description
Located, on a very historical site in the middle of Dundalk Town, the Grammar School has created a modern learning environment within the confines of a unique setting.
Doohamlet Construction were commissioned to construct a new reception and office areas which would be the primary entrance for visitors coming to the school.
The sympathetic design by McKevitt King Architects, blended the new modern two storey building with traditional materials to create a structure which would appear to have always been in situ.
The building has been cladded in copper and has is fitted with all the energy efficient services that are now standard for all commercial builds.
The project was a great success as the new building gives the Client a new area in which to host visitors and more off street parking within the grounds.
