Project Particulars: The project consisted of a temporary , stand alone building with link corridors to the main building on two levels. The building measured approximately 800m2 and required the standard clinical fit out as with a permanent structure.
Project Description
The Task
Our company undertook the project to provide a bespoke two storey building within a restricted timeframe and within the confines of the existing carpark. While working in the environs of a live hospital situation its necessary to be aware of noise, dust, and traffic management. Our past experience working with in these parameters stood us in good stead for in controlling of these elements.
Project Delivery: This custom built construction was fabricated in modular format at another location, transported to site and erected within two weeks. The building was watertight within three weeks and all service installations started immediately. We have developed methodologies, and practices to supply and erect such structures in limited space and under strict time restraints.
The Outcome: The client has received additional , temporary, critical space to cope with comprising any standard finishes and equipment levels. This building now forms part of the Emergency Department.
